Night Photo Tallinn Town Hall Taken In Tallinn – The Capital Of Estonia
ABOUT
Tallinn – Estonia’s Administrative Center is located on Baltic sea. The Old Town surrounded by castle walls is home of many restaurants and shops. Tallinn Town Hall was built as it is in 1404. The tower is 64 m high and the visitors can climb 115 step staircase to a balcony situated at 34 m. The Old Thomas Weather Vane – one of the city symbols and guardians, was set on the top of the tower in 1530 and kept “guarding” the city to 1944 when the tower was destructed in the WWII. The city management worked here until 1970. Nowadays, the Town Hall is used as a museum and concert hall. The nighttime photograph, taken with a tripod in March, 2016 after a short snow fall is a limited edition photo print at art collectors disposal.
